We acknowledge that Boundary Span, LLC and many, if not all of us, in what is now called the Southeastern Pennsylvania region, are located on the ancestral and unceded traditional territories of the Lenape peoples. Their enduring presence and resilience in Pennsylvania are deeply respected and valued. We recognize that the Indigenous people of this land never surrendered lands or resources to the United States.

 

We make this acknowledgment as a gesture of gratitude to the indigenous communities who have maintained a profound relationship with this land for generations. Additionally, we acknowledge the complex history of colonialism, land theft, violence, erasure, and oppression that have shaped our institutions and our society.

This acknowledgment serves as a reminder of the ongoing journey towards understanding and reconciliation, and it prompts us to reflect on our collective responsibility in dismantling systems of oppression and promoting justice and equity.
